Meagan Cignoli is a Los Angeles–based artist whose practice centers on sculpture and material exploration. Working with fragile, tactile materials such as paper pulp, raw clay, fabric, plaster, and pigment, she embraces imperfection, change, and ephemerality as integral to the work. Her process is intuitive and emotionally driven, holding space for softness, vulnerability, and presence. Influenced by her background in visual media and fashion, Meagan values the visible hand and resists over-polish, allowing materials to age, shift, and speak for themselves. Her work explores the tension between holding on and letting go, preserving fleeting moments, feelings, and acts of intimate communication.
