Dear America
We invite you to share a glimpse into your lived immigrant experience.
In a time when many immigrant communities across the United States are navigating uncertainty, our goal is to create space for stories that remain untold.
Often, the most powerful stories live in the smallest moments of everyday life—the subtle changes, familiar routines that feel different, the things we carry but don’t always say aloud. Through this project, we hope to allow those moments to be expressed and witnessed.
The Dear America Project invites written letters reflecting on the realities of the immigrant experience today. Your letter can take any form, a memory, a passing moment, a loss, a fear, a hope, or simply a day in your life. In gathering these voices, we hope to illuminate the humanity behind experiences that are too often reduced to headlines.
Through these letters, we seek to honor the complexity of immigrant experiences, creating a collection of voices that reminds us that every headline represents a life, a family, and a story worth telling–a collective archive of voices that deserve to be heard.
