Nicole Anastas is a los Angeles–based visual artist working at the intersection of textiles, design, and painting. Her practice began with designing and sewing her own clothing and evolved into abstract paintings built from hand-stitched canvases layered with bold paint and intricate details.
Her work explores balance, between structure and spontaneity, order and imperfection, beauty and grit. Each piece invites viewers to explore its textures and stories, reflecting the ways lives are pieced together and put on display.
