Bea Ladrón de Guevara is a multidisciplinary Spanish artist based in Los Angeles whose work values simplicity, sustainability, and the natural world. Her Ikigai series explores creation as a meeting point between the visible and invisible, inspired by the Japanese concept of one’s reason for being, the alignment of purpose, love, and life-sustaining forces.
Using hand-ground mineral pigments, clays, and botanical inks, Bea’s slow intentional process is both alchemical and meditative. The works are not depictions of nature, but expressions of its living pulse, creating quiet spaces for reflection, presence, and reconnection with the natural and spiritual worlds.
