MARBELLA VASQUEZ FARACH

los angeles

Marbella Vasquez Farach is a Los Angeles-based ceramic artist whose work bridges the precision of architectural design with the organic sensuality of clay. Originally trained as an architect, Vasquez Farach brings a deep understanding of structure, form, and spatial relationships to her ceramic practice. Her transition from drafting buildings to shaping earth reflects a continued fascination with how material can hold memory, movement, and emotion.
Her journey began in a garage-turned-studio in Costa Rica, where she first began experimenting with ceramics as a more tactile, intuitive mode of expression. Now working out of her studio in Los Angeles, she continues to explore the balance between rawness and refinement, rigidity and flow. Her work is marked by clean lines and architectural silhouettes softened by the irregularities of hand-formed clay, each piece a meditation on the tension between the built and the natural world.
