Joan Marie Scott is a Los Angeles–based ceramicist creating handmade, small-batch tableware since 2019. Rooted in a Mexican heritage and shaped by a life along the West Coast, their work draws from the textures, colors, and rhythms of both Mexico and California. Each piece is made by hand in small production, embracing subtle variation and he warmth of imperfection. Through clay, Joan, explores a dialogue between tradition and modern living, vessels that carry both memory and use, made to bring beauty into the everyday.
