GLADE

Two Faced Gallery is pleased to present Glade, a group exhibition featuring the work of Austin Kahn, Isabella Innis, Daniella Algarate, Alexandria Wallace, and Ukwial. Spanning sculpture, ceramics, painting, and mixed media, the artists in Glade explore the shifting relationship between humans and the natural world through material, memory, and imagination.
The exhibition invites viewers into a forest-like space—an atmosphere of slowness and reflection—where boundaries between the real and the remembered dissolve. Each work acts as a fragment of an unseen landscape: textured, luminous, and quietly transformative. Whether through salvaged metal, velvety ceramics, or layered painterly surfaces, the artists examine themes of impermanence, adaptation, and presence. While their approaches vary, the works share a sensitivity to environment and sensation. From marine-inspired ceramics and oxidized sculptures to paintings that evoke the rhythm of light and shadow, Glade becomes a place of encounter—where wandering becomes a form of seeing, and the natural world offers both metaphor and material.
