Caro is a handcrafted ceramic studio based in Los Angeles, founded by ceramic artist and designer Carolina Cortella. Originally from Buenos Aires, Carolina’s journey began with a BFA in Film Direction from the Fundación Universidad del Cine, followed by a career in filmmaking. Her passion for storytelling led her to explore the tactile world of ceramics, where she found a new medium for expression. Carolina’s work focuses on creating organic forms that blur the boundaries between art and function, inspired by the natural world. Each hand-built piece is designed to engage the senses, interacting with light and space to create an ever-changing presence. Her distinctive approach has been featured in Artforum and showcased in exhibitions across Los Angeles, Paris, and Buenos Aires.
